5 Year old Female - Diagnosed with Autism

When I first met the family, this beautiful child presented as
  • Non verbal (but she does babble),
  • She was not toilet trained,
  • She suffered periods of distress during which she banged her head on hard surfaces
  • She smacked the side of her head with her hands - which mum felt was due to pain so she had recently had grommets fitted but the behaviour was still evident at this stage.
  • There is much focusing on the hands
  • Unable to concentrate on anything around her including the TV
  • She likes to bounce
  • She had also been diagnosed with scoliosis with a 20 degree curvature of her spine that was impacting her gait.  She is very unsteady on her feet, always falling over.
  • She communicates by guiding people to what she wants.
  • She can understand much of what is said
  • Healthwise she gets lots of coughs and colds
  • Mum feels her eyesight is not right but she can not be tested.
  • Just recently mum says she has been drooling more than normal and has been foaming at the mouth.
  • The family were unable to venture out as a family as she would "scream her lungs out" within a very short time
  • At school she was unable to join in the class room set up at all and had a "safe tent" that she stayed in for the day.

A careful history revealed a number of possible substances that may be causing a residual toxicity that potentially could be impacting her.

Armed with this information we began the first 8 week course of detox.

PROGRESS REPORT

I spoke to her mum 6 weeks into the course and this is what she had to say:
  • Absolutely fantastic, she's a different child
  • there is no extreme behaviour - no head banging and no hitting the sides of her head.
  • School have commented on the huge change - she is calm and quiet and in class full time.
  • Her attention is improving and she is beginning to watch the TV
  • She laughs and giggles all the time
  • Getting her dressed is now relaxed and easy - "It is like a weight has been lifted"
  • Now calm and quiet when they go out
  • Lots of kisses and cuddles to people she knows
  • Now really happy to go to bed, and happy in it.  previously she would rock and head bang.
  • Babbles and sings (non verbal) constantly.
  • Mum thinks she can hear the beginning of "mum" and an Aunts friend is sure she said "hand".
  • Been able to walk to the park as a family for the first time.
  • She has had no medication since the start of the programme.
  • As she is now so much calmer she went to be fitted for a back brace for the scoliosis - the consultant is stunned as the curvature has reduce to 3 degrees.
  • The only negtive with the programme that her mother could identify is that she has a very sore bottom.

6 Year old Male - Diagnosed with ADHD

On meeting this delightful boy he presented as
  • very excitable
  • aggressive if provoked
  • very poor concentration span
  • no awareness of danger - would run in the road if mum not holding his hand
  • behavioural issues in school and at home.
  • he feels like a ball of anger waiting to explode.

PROGRESS REPORT
After the first 8 week detox course there is
  • considrable improvment in his concentration.  Mum can get him to work on a project for up to an hour.
  • He is very well behaved in school - his behaviour at home is more challenging.
  • anger is still there but at home not at school.

In discussion with mum I felt that we had maybe missed another layer of toxicity as, whilst there has been improvement it is less than we would hope for.  Mum was able to identify another layer that she had not previously thought of which occurred at about the time that she felt his issues started.

Second round of detox commenced accordingly.

7 Year old Female - Diagnosed with Psoriasis

This lovely little girl presented with large patches of sore looking, red and scaley skin on her face, scalp, torso, arms and legs.

The hospital were suggesting steroidal creams and light therapy but she was not responding to the steroids.

The condition had started about a year previously but there were no clear reasons for it.

We decided on a CEASE approach to detox her from a couple of potential
problems.

We started the first detox and after 8 weeks the skin was noticeably improved.  A repeat of this detox and the skin is barely noticeable with just some residual pale pinky/brown scarring remaining.  This we are treating with a second round of detox and then this will be followed with a more clasical remedy if still indicated.

13 Year old Female - with extreme anxiety and chronic gastritis

Presenting issues included severe anxiety with previous school refusal, chronic gastritis symptoms, lack of self confidence.

This young girl required a number of detox rounds for various substances that were known to have caused her considerable problems as a young child.

The first round resulted in a short sharp flare up of her gastritis symptoms that lasted less than 24 hours rather than the several weeks that would normally be expected.  It also saw her develop tightness in her chest with pain again lasting for no more than 24 hours but resembling a reaction she had at the age of 9 weeks to a chemical.

After this round her anxiety had almost gone, she felt confident in school, where previoulsy she had really struggled, she was attending all lessons for the first time and was generally much happier in herself.

We now moved to the second detox layer.  This resulted once again in a temporary exacerbation of her gastritis symptoms, but they quickly calmed.
